An Executive was driving to an important meeting, along with an IT Manager and a Programmer. While they were travelling down a steep hill, the brakes on their car began to fail. Thinking quickly, the Executive pumped the emergency brake, downshifted the gears, and rubbed the wheels' rims against the curb. The car came to a halt midway down the hill.
The three climbed out of the car to assess the situation.
“Let's try and fix it. I'll crawl under the car and take a look,” said the IT Manager.
“No, let's just outsource this problem”, said the Executive. “I’ll call a tow truck and a cab.”
“Before we do anything," said the Programmer, "I think we should push the car back up the road and see if it happens again.”
